What We Do
Keeping families together to help kids heal and cope better
Our first house at 501 E. Roanoke Avenue provides affordable, temporary housing for up to 45 families every night. Since 1985, the Roanoke House has served families with ill or injured children 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The large community kitchen, dining rooms, living room, library, playroom, laundry facilities and Wi-Fi help create an environment where families feel safe, secure and supported as they manage the challenge of caring for a sick or injured child. The house is located equidistant from Phoenix Children’s Hospital (PCH), Banner University Medical Center, and St. Joseph’s Hospital. Other medical facilities in the vicinity are Maricopa Medical Center, CRS Clinic and John C. Lincoln.
