Red Shoe Society

The Red Shoe Society is young professionals group dedicated to supporting the mission of RMHC. The Mission of RMHC is a welcoming home away from home for families with children facing medical challenges, providing an atmosphere of comfort, hope and courage.

Red Shoe Society members raise awareness and funds for the house through a variety of social and volunteer activities and strive to create a fun and welcoming environment where emerging community leaders can network and share their philanthropic interests.

Fundraising and Awareness:
Red Shoe Society members plan several fundraisers throughout the year. In the past, these have included cocktail parties, “friend-raiser” events, and the “Through the Looking-glass After Party”, the after party to A McNight to Remember in Wonderland held on November 5, 2011. The event was attended by more than 300 supporters of both the Red Shoe Society and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Phoenix. The group is always looking for new and interesting ways to raise funds for RMHC and welcomes suggestions for potential fundraisers and awareness events.

Connecting with Families/Volunteering:
The members gather regularly throughout the year to cook and serve dinner to families staying at the House. These meals provide great support to the families and give The Red Shoe Society members a unique opportunity to interact and connect with the families who stay at RMHC.

Get Involved:

All members are encouraged to take an active role in the organization, which includes participation in as many dinners and Red Shoe Society events as possible. In addition, all new members are encouraged to take a tour of the House.
