Keeping families together to help kids heal and cope better
Volunteers are the heart of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Phoenix, Inc. by helping us provide comfort and support to families at our Houses and in our Ronald McDonald Family Room. We have a variety of opportunities and schedules available. We invite you to join our volunteer family. You will be richly rewarded.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Some of the duties that our volunteers help with are:
Anyone interested is invited to take a tour of our “Home Away From Home” so you can see first hand how you might be involved as a volunteer. Prospective volunteers must complete an application and interview with our Volunteer Programs Coordinator.
We have important opportunities that support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Phoenix, Inc. that do not require an extensive time commitment.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Phoenix has its annual fundraising gala which is heavily supported by volunteers.
Our A McNight to Remember Gala takes place each fall this year it will be held on Novemeber 3rd at the Phoenix Downtown Sheraton. The event is an exciting evening of entertainment featuring live and silent auctions, raffles, a gourmet dinner, and the Heart of the House Awards. For more information and to sign up click here.
Our first ever walk for the House “The Amazing Raise” takes place on December 1st at the Cambridge House (1980 E Cambridge Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85006). The walk will go from house to house through Phoenix, for every person that signs up for the walk they will provide a night to a family going through medical crisis with their child. Volunteers will do a number of responsibilities including but not limited to; route monitoring, handing out favors and program assitance. For more information and to sign up click here
A number of projects are available for groups of 8-60 people.
Among the most popular of group opportunities is our dinner program. A home cooked meal is a welcomed gift for our families when they return to our Houses after an exhausting day at the hospital or clinic. Volunteers sign up to prepare meals 365 days a year at both of our Houses. For more detailed information, please click here.
Community Service Projects:
We count on our community to help us keep our Houses comfortable and clean. We invite your service group to help us maintain our House by scheduling your group Monday through Saturday in the mornings. Activities might involve sanitizing the toys in the playroom, organizing the kitchen, deep cleaning rooms and ground maintenance.
