Keeping families together to help kids heal and cope better
The need for in-kind donations is tremendous at Ronald McDonald House. In-kind donations free up additional funding to better serve the families who find a home away from home at the House. With three Houses consisting of 79 bedrooms, grounds to maintain and offices to run, the list of in-kind donations needed is extensive. As always, we’re more than happy to provide you with a receipt for the value of your donation for tax purposes. That being said, we always greatly appreciate your help! RMHC Phoenix is fortunate that many individuals, businesses, and groups host Community Fundraisers such as special events and promotions to support children and their families who are staying at RMHC.

ONGOING COMMUNITY FUNDRAISERS
Newspaper Sales in McDonald’s
A portion of all proceeds from the sale of newspapers in local McDonald’s restaurants are contributed to RMHC Phoenix.
Donation Boxes in McDonald’s
When you put your change in the counter and drive-thru donation boxes at any local McDonald’s restaurant your money is donated directly to RMHC Phoenix. In 2014 alone, we received over $420,000 in contributions collected in the McDonald’s donation boxes. Drop your change and make a difference!
As a rule of thumb:
If it sticks to a magnet, it is NOT aluminum.
(Usually these “sticky” tabs are steel.)
Requests for small collection houses can be made to Manny Lucero at email@example.com.
Large houses are limited and must be picked up directly at our offices at the Roanoke address. (Please email beforehand to ensure we have some in stock.)
We ask for a $1.50 donation per small house and $3.00 donation per large house. (Quantity available may be limited, depending on stock available at House)
You can collect the tabs in whatever you want, but here’s how we need you to turn them in at the House:
Smaller amounts of tabs should be bagged in gallon size Ziploc bags and clearly labeled with the date, your contact information, and (if you know) the weight of the tabs turned in. Larger amounts of tabs should be bagged in large trash bags (preferably the clear kind) and labeled with the date, your contact information, and (if you know) the weight of the tabs turned in.
Tabs will not be accepted in milk jugs, liter bottles, water jugs, or any similar container. They are very difficult and time consuming to empty when they are stored this way. Thank you!
