Scholarship Program In 2008, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Phoenix awarded scholarships to 91 deserving Arizona High School Seniors. The RMHC Scholarship Recognition Ceremony was held on June 18th, 2008 at Chase Field, where students were recognized for their outstanding accomplishments on the field before the Arizona Diamondbacks game that evening.  2008 Scholarship Recipient Recognition Event | "I would like to thank-you for awarding me the Ronald McDonald House Charities Scholarship. The RMHC National Scholarship Program is designed to provide financial assistance to eligible graduating high school seniors who face limited access to educational and career opportunities. Students are selected and awards are distributed based on demonstrated academic achievement, financial need and community involvement. Ronald McDonald House of Phoenix, with support from RMHC Global and Phoenix McDonald's Owner Operators, offer scholarships to students from communities who face limited access to educational and career opportunities. These scholarships are part of RMHC's ongoing commitment to education and are offered in the following categories: • RMHC/African American Future Achievers • RMHC/Hispanic American Commitment to Educational Resources (HACER) • RMHC Scholars.
