- SCHOOLS can get involved in our pop tab program through the POP TAB CHALLENGE! Each year valley schools compete to see who can collect the most pop tabs for the House.
Winners are selected in two categories: The school that collects the most tabs total (in pounds) The school that collects the most tabs per student (in pounds)

Collecting pop tabs can be educational too! Many teachers integrate the pop tabs into their math, science, and even art curriculum. PTC 2008-2009 Timeline JULY 14, 2008: Registration begins and all forms are posted online. SEPTEMBER 1, 2008: Contest starts and tabs are accepted as part of school’s total. APRIL 17, 2009: Official end of 2008-2009 Pop Tab Challenge- tabs will not be added to total after this date. MAY 4, 2009: Winners announced on or before this date.
*Please note, that ALL SCHOOLS MUST REGISTER before tabs will be counted towards school's total.
