Our Programs

The idea behind the Ronald McDonald House program is simple: Provide a home away from home for families of seriously ill or injured children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals and medical centers.

Some families must travel great distances to get medical attention for their children. In-hospital treatment may last one day, one year or longer. For these children's families, accommodations can be hard to come by. Options often are limited to costly hotels or uncomfortable hospital chairs and benches. Ronald McDonald House of Phoenix keeps families together when they need it most by offering them a comfortable, temporary residence in proximity to a medical facility.

Ronald McDonald House of Phoenix has served over 26,000 families since 1985
There are 271 Ronald McDonald Houses in 30 countries
Since 1974, the Ronald McDonald House program has helped more than 10 million families
More than 6,000 bedrooms worldwide are available for families every night.
