The purpose of the Ronald McDonald House is to provide a home away from home for families that travel to a Phoenix medical facility to seek medical care for their children. Our House features the following ammenities:

• 45 Bedrooms with phones for local calls
  
• TV in each room with VCR or DVD Player
  
• 3 Station kitchen and stocked pantry
  
• 2 laundry rooms with all supplies
  
• Library with 2 computers including internet access
  
• Family Room
  
• Quiet room
  
• Cyracom Translation Language Service
  
• Beautiful shaded playground
  
• Gus’s Garden

One room per family with a maximum capacity of 3 adults or 2 adults and 3 children in a room due to Phoenix fire code.

HOW TO STAY

Eligibility and Admission Process

Arrangements and Referral must be made in advance through the social work department at the medical facility, your physician, or their staff for the family’s first stay at the House. Your medical representative should call our office at (602) 264-2654 between 9 AM and 5 PM as far in advance of your stay as possible.

Check-in time is daily 9 AM to 5 PM
Check-out time is daily 9 AM to 3 PM

Because we must manage our occupancy around the uncertainty of illness and medical treatment, we may experience sudden, unpredictable room shortages. For that reason, Please call 602-264-2654 24 hours in advance of your planned arrival time to check that the space is still available.

Requirements to Stay

• The child receiving treatment at a local medical facility (whether inpatient or outpatient) must not have celebrated their 22nd birthday.
  
• The family or support group must live outside a 30-mile radius of the Ronald McDonald House.
  All children under the age of 18 must be with their legal guardian while on the House property at all times.

Who May Stay

• Any family member or person who will provide support for the child.

Fees for Stay

• $10 per room per night.
  
• $20 cleaning deposit. This fee is payable upon check-in and will be refunded upon check-out if the room is properly cleaned.
