NEW RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE OPEN ON THE CAMPUS OF PHOENIX CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
From Ground Breaking to Grand Opening, We're Ready to Serve Families in the New Ronald McDonald House at Phoenix Children's Hospital! (Click Here for more information about our House Warming Celebration that took place on 6/21 and the New House at PCH!) Ronald McDonald House Charities of Phoenix cares for the families of severely ill or injured children by providing them with temporary housing and respite services; enabling the families to be close by when their children need them the most.
Ronald McDonald House provides a temporary home away from home for families who must travel to the Valley to receive treatment for ill or injured children, less than 22 years of age, at local hospitals or medical centers. The large community living areas and 45 private guest rooms create an environment where families feel comfortable and supported as they manage the challenge of caring for a sick or injured child. The company of other families coping with similar experiences offers support during times of crisis.
Ronald McDonald Family Room at St. Joseph’s Hospital provides a caring and supportive respite area for adult family members of children receiving medical treatment at the Hospital. The Family Room provides a few of the comforts from home for all pediatric families including a place to take a shower, do laundry, have a snack or just relax and watch a movie. |
